Enrollment Completer Projections
In reviewing Barstow Community College’s Automotive Technology program enrollment and completion rates for the past two years, 2015-2016 and 2016-2017, and the year-to-date enrollment numbers for the 2017-2018 school year. We experienced a slight decrease in enrollment and completion rates from 15/16 to 16/17. During 17/18 to-date we have experienced a dramatic drop in enrollment. While we have experienced lower enrollment across the board we anticipate by expanding our program by offering specialized short term certificates, offering new programs such as Air Conditioning, and offering emerging technologies such as hybrid and alternative fuels will help to increase enrollment. We project for this certificate program we will have 15 students enrolling with 10 completers each academic year. This projection was developed by previous and current enrollment/completion trends and program demand.
