Management Institute

The Management Institute certificate  program is designed for students who desire to sharpen their managerial skills. Completion of all three courses (9 units)  will provide the students with the  basic skills necessary to succeed in any business managerial position.

The program will prepare students to obtain or advance in employment and  function effectively in a business management position in a variety of settings. 

The program requires successful completion of 9 units of coursework in the classes listed below with a grade of “C” or better. Grades of “CR” or “P” will be accepted as equivalent to a "C".  At least 3 units in an advanced course from the certificate must be completed at OCC, and substitution of one or more classes may be approved and credit awarded at the department’s discretion.
