The Computer Electronics (Level 4) A.S. Degree builds on the Computer Support Technician (Level 1) Certificate, the Computer Support Specialist (Level 2) Certificate, and the Computer Electronics (Level 3) Certificate to provide a flexible pathway to earn a 2-year College Degree. It prepares students for employment as Computer and Network Support Specialists with options to select a variety of advanced technical specializations and certifications.

The Computer Electronics (Level 4) A.S. Degree supports the Modesto Junior College mission by addressing the needs of our students with the goal of developing an independent computer and network technology support business or seeking employment in the regional community workforce as a Computer Support Professional. The Computer Electronics Advisory Committee validates the certificate as a method of documenting students’ technical skills for employment. The courses associated with the program are also offered as a part of the Computer Electronics A.S.Degree Program and Certificate of Achievement. In partnership with the Stanislaus County Office of Education,Stanislaus County Workforce Development and the Google,org foundation there will be entry-level internship opportunities for students participating in the program.
