The Associate ofScience in Data Analytics program is designed to provide students with a strongfoundation in data analysis, statistics, programming, and data visualization.Students will learn how to collect, clean, analyze, and interpret data to support decision-making processes in various industries. The program emphasizeshands-on experience with data analytics tools and technologies, preparingstudents for entry-level positions in data analysis and related fields or forfurther study in a bachelor's degree program.

Program Goal

The program goal for Data Analytics is to train students in BIG data, write SQL queries, andaggregate large amounts of data. Another program goal is to create tables andmerge multiple tables. The student will extensively use Pandas and the Jupyter Notebookas the platform.

Upon successful completion of the program,graduates will be able to:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting data using statistical techniques and software tools.
  • Apply programming languages commonly used in data analytics, such as Python, R, or SQL, to manipulate and analyze data effectively.
  • Communicate data insights and trends clearly to non-technical stakeholders through effective data visualization techniques.
