Course Report

Program Requirements Narrative

One of the degree requirements, AJ 211 - Fingerprinting, has been deactivated due to the technological changes in the industry that rendered the class obsolete.  Another degree requirement, CE -100, has been impossible to obtain recently and triggered a rethinking of the requirement as one that is difficult to obtain under the best of circumstances and should be removed.

Palomar College submitted the appropriate LMI from the COE. The COE recommends proceeding with developing a program or a program modification because 1) the occupations’ entry-level and median earnings are above the living wage and 2) a supply gap exists.
