The Certificate of Achievement in Artificial Intelligence is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills required for a variety of entry level positions in the field of Artificial Intelligence. The program includes foundation courses in introduction to Artificial Intelligence, data analysis, machine learning, and deep learning.

Program Requirements Narrative

The Mission College Program in Artificial Intelligence (AI) will provide students with the basic knowledge and skills required for a variety of entry level positions in AI.  Students completing this Certificate of Achievement will learn Python Programming and Data Analysis, along with an Introduction to Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Depp Learning.  These are the 5 required courses in the program, each earning 4 credit units, for a total of 20 units.

CIS 007 - Python Programming

CIS 050 - Introduction to Artificial Intelligence

CIS 051 - Introduction to Data Analysis

CIS 053 - Introduction to Machine Learning

CIS 054 - Introduction to Deep Learning

The program will be scheduled in a specific order and it is recommended the student follow the order of courses as the curriculum is cumulative.
