Prepares students for transfer to a four-year college or university to continue studies in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields. Introduces students to the field so that they can gain an understanding and become familiar with logistics and supply chain management prior to transfer.
Enrollment completer projections is estimated to be 12 annually.

According to labor market demand data, employers in San Diego County are projected to hire 6,248 workers annually between 2019 and 2024 for Logistics and Supply Chain Management Occupations. The growing trends in Supply Chain Management and Logistics related training is huge and needs to be addressed with well-trained instructors.

Southwestern College submitted the appropriate LMI from the COE. The COE supports a program modification because 1) there is a supply gap; 2) there is a high number of annual job openings; and 3) entry-level wages are above the living wage for these occupations. The colleges should also note that employers typically require a bachelor's degree as the minimum educational requirement.
