This Certificate of Achievement is designed for students who have completed the A.S. in Early Childhood Studies or the AS-T in Early Childhood Education who desire to apply for a Site Supervisor permit.

The Site Supervisor permit authorizes the holder to supervise a childcare and development program operating at a single site; provide service in the care, development, and instruction of children in a childcare and development program; and serve as a coordinator of curriculum and staff development.

Program Goal

The Certificate of Achievement in Early Childhood Education Site Supervisor is designed for students who are working in the field of Child Development/Early Childhood Education and are pursuing the position of site supervisor at a day care program. 

Development program will develop the knowledge of subject matter and professional skills that enable them to work in Early Education Programs and Family Day Care businesses. 

To earn a Certificate of Achievement in Early Childhood Education Site Supervisor, students complete 6 units of state designated course of Administration and 2 units of Adult Supervision.
