The Computer Electronics Certificate (Level 3) builds on the Computer Support Technician (Level 1) Certificate and Computer Support Specialist (Level 2) Certificate to further prepare students for employment as Computer and Information Technology Support Professionals with flexible options to select a variety of more advanced technical specializations and certifications.

Program Goal

The ComputerElectronics (Level 3) Certificate of Achievement supports the Modesto JuniorCollege mission by addressing the needs of our students with the goal of developing an independent computer and network technology support business orseeking employment in the regional community workforce as a Computer SupportProfessional.  The Computer ElectronicsAdvisory Committee validates the certificate as a method of documentingstudentsā€™ technical skills for employment. The courses associated with the program are also offered as a part ofthe Computer Electronics A.S. Degree Program and Certificate ofAchievement.  In partnership with theStanislaus County Office of Education, Stanislaus County Workforce Developmentand the Google,org foundation there will be entry-level internshipopportunities for  students participatingin the program.
