Virtual Reality Designer

The goal of the Virtual Reality Designer Certificate is to provide students with entry level skills for a career in the art and design aspects of virtual reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR). The program covers the gamut of skills needed by a designer or artist including, 3D modeling, animation, game engine skills, designing of interactive experiences, production planning, working in collaborative teams, and familiarity with current VR and AR technologies. The program is taught through a series of hands-on projects that require the student to exhibit creativity and practice interactive game industry processes and techniques. This certificate may aid the student in the search for an entry-level position as a VR designer, VR artist, VR/AR Developer, or VR Technical Artist.
