Catalog Description

The Game Development Fundamentals Certificate of Achievement provides students of interested in game development a collective learning experience in which to develop the necessary design and programming skills to compete, with industry standard tools and processes, in the field of interactive game design and development. The program provides students with a comprehensive approach to game programming and design. The program curriculum is structured to provide students with a dynamic integration of development and programming in the creation of a variety of multiplatform products and applications. The certificate offers a choice between three of the most popular programming languages: C++, JavaScript, and Python. Upon completion of this program, students will be qualified for entry-level employment in the interactive gaming industry

The computer science and computer information systems department pride themselves in providing classes that enable our students with the latest skills in technology which are highly employable in the workforce. The Game Development Fundamentals program is structured so as to provide students with comprehensive technology and practical design applications. 

Upon completion of this program, students will be qualified for entry-level employment in the interactive gaming industry
