Course Report

Program Requirements Narrative

One of the required courses for the degree, AJ 115 Patrol Procedures, has been deactivated due to the content being offered as part of the Police Academy.  Another course, CE 100, needs to be removed due to COVID 19.  It was impossible to obtain work experience during the pandemic and it caused us to rethink the necessity of this class in a post-pandemic world.

Palomar College submitted the appropriate LMI from the COE. The COE recommends proceeding with developing a program or a program modification because 1) the occupations’ entry-level and median earnings are above the living wage and 2) a supply gap exists.
