MiraCosta College supports this program since it is a program modification. Concur with the COE recommendation that a new program may warrant discussion, however, a modification is supported by MiraCosta.

Miramar College submitted the appropriate LMI from the COE. There is an oversupply gap (1,695 annual job openings), entry-level wages are $36.04, and total employment for the occupation increased from 44,024 to 56,779 jobs in the region over the past 10 years. Based on available LMI, the COE would not endorse a *new* program. However, if this is a program modification, then the COE defers to the region.
