Antelope Valley College offers a comprehensive Music Performance & Education Certificate program designed to nurture your musical abilities while equipping you with the skills to inspire future generations of musicians. Students will elevate musical talents through rigorous training in a chosen instrument or voice, in addition to complementary courses in music theory, musicianship, piano, improvisation, and music history/appreciation. Additionally, students will cap their studies through the work study program in an effort to demonstrate industry competency.
Average of 4-5 completion of the MUSC Certificates for the past 4 years.

Students enrolled in the Music Performance & Education Certificate will receive a breadth of coursework to establish music fluency and literacy, including theory, musicianship, piano, and history/appreciation. Additionally, students will receive advanced training on a selected instrument or voice privately, in an ensemble, and through the improvisation course.
