The construction curriculum in this program is designed to provide students with hands-on training and technical information that will prepare them for entry into the construction industry or for personal construction projects.
Completers in this eighteen unit certificate should be between 60 and 75 percent of those entering the program.
1. Layout and Square a building Foundation.
2. Construct Forms for a slab on grade.
3. Install Roof sheathing.
4. Correctly install and finish drywall.
5. Install pre-hung doors.
6. Correctly install vinyl windows in a newly framed residence.
