The Certificate of Achievement in Entrepreneurship is designed to prepare students to engage in the world of entrepreneurship. The certificate will provide students with the skills necessary to develop an actionable business plan for starting a new business. Courses will cover the legal aspects of starting a business, digital marketing from an entrepreneurial perspective, and the components necessary to develop a strong business plan, which addresses best practices for current and future entrepreneurs or small business owners. The goal of this certificate program is to prepare students with relevant tools in exploring various pathways to entrepreneurship.
We expect approximately 30 students to earn this certificate annually.
Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:
1. Develop an entrepreneurial mindset that breeds business creativity and innovation.
2. Innovate, create, and design business plans.
3. Explore the methods of raising venture capital and manage all aspects of a small business.
Requirementsfor Certificate for Entrepreneurship:
a. Complete Major Field courses.
b. Complete at least six units at Ohlone College.
c.Maintain a 2.0 grade point average in Major Field courses.

You mention only Skyline and CCSF, but your LMI shows that there are already 6 programs in the East Bay. They awarded 13 of the 17 associate degrees and 16 of the 48 certificates mentioned in the COE's report. The COE concludes there is still an undersupply, but you should still have mentioned and reached out to the other colleges before submitting your proposal.

Note from Ohlone Team: On 12/23, we reached out to faculty at Chabot College and Las Positas College to alert them about the program coming up for recommendation.
