The business data analytics and database degree prepare students for various rapidly evolving information technology-related data analytics degrees. The restrictive electives will allow a student to also prepare for traditional 4-year data science degrees. Analytics (analysis of data) and database (organization of data) are two high-demand careers. The core requirements of the degree introduce students to high-demand critical evolving data technologies, including relational databases, SQL (universal standard language for communicating to relational databases), data visualization, data modeling, data warehousing, database reporting using Tableau, big data, NoSQL, cloud and business intelligence using Microsoft Power BI and Excel.

Upon completion of the Certificate Students will be able:
1. Identify basics of data management and manipulation including SQL, Cloud Storage Services, Relational Database Vendors and Relational Database Interfaces.
2. Perform various Data Analytics skills, of analyzing, manipulating, and reporting data.
Develop data visualizations for business decision making using applications like Tableau and Power BI.
Students will be awarded the described degree upon successful completion of the courses required.
