This program of study prepares a pilot already in possession of a Private Pilot certificate with the Instrument rating to meet the aeronautical knowledge and aeronautical experience requirements of Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 61 Sub-part F. for certification as a commercial pilot. In addition the program prepares students seeking careers as non-flying aviation professionals by giving them background knowledge in advanced aerodynamics, systems and aircraft operations.

The program offers a course of study that helps students to develop the practical and analytical critical thinking skills necessary for completion of flight training and successful completion of federally administered written examinations for commercial pilot certification.
