Introduction into the setup, programming,troubleshooting and operation of welding automation using six axis welding robots.
The automation industry is a growing segment in the San Joaquin Valley. The welding department is expecting to start with 20-30 students qualifying to earn the certificate of achievement per year. As automation grows in the valley this number will increase.
Upon completion of this program students will have a core understanding of welding automation. Safely operate common robotic welding automation systems while performing advanced programming and welding functions. Analyze the theory and skills necessary for performing advanced programming and operational tasks.
