This program is considered Career Technical Education (CTE). The goal of the One-Person Office Certificate is for students to acquire fundamental skills needed for individuals interested in running a one-person office.
1. Demonstrate key skills in order to effectively meet customer needs and provide outstanding customer service.
2. Journalize and post a variety of typical business transactions.
3. Apply emerging technologies to business and administrative processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
The industries needing these skills include: entrepreneurs, business offices, CPA firms (support staff), construction (office staff), non-profit organizations(including churches), manufacturing firms (office staff), customer service in any industry.
