1. Promote cross-fertilization of students among business, media studies and graphics. 2. Prepare students for in-demand jobs in the areas of social media and digital online journalism.
We are making modifications to this program to improve completions and to give students knowledge and application of video. The GCMW 120 course (Designing for the Social Web) will be replaced with the DBA 105 course (Multimedia Storytelling). DBA 105 is offered more often than GCMW 120, and it gives students necessary skills for creating video content that is very much in demand on today’s social media platforms.
