The skill award in engineering technology is designed to give students fundamental introductory skills in mechanical, electrical and computer engineering technology through hands-on project based applications that interact with the physical world. Students may include these courses in a certificate of achievement or an A.S. degree in engineering technology. This Skill Award originally included ENGR 130 and ENGR 298, and ENGR 299. The course requirements are being updated as ENGR 120, 130, 122 and 117.
This program shares one class with the mechanical engineering program and each of the four courses are related and support the technical understanding of engineering and manufacturing concepts.
