The Accounting Clerical Certificate program is designed to provide students with basic accounting knowledge and computer skills necessary to obtain entry-level accounting clerical and support positions in small and medium sized businesses. To earn the certificate,the required courses must be completed with a minimum grade of “C”.

The goal of the Accounting Clerical Certificate is to provide students with the skills to obtain a middle-skill accounting position such as billing and posting clerk; bookkeeping, accounting,and auditing clerk; or payroll and timekeeping clerk. Students with these skills could obtain employment while still continuing their education in business and accounting.
The Accounting Clerical Certificate of Achievement is a 9-unit program designed to provide students with knowledge of foundational skills to obtain employment in middle-skill accounting positions. Students must complete the program earning a grade of C or better in all required courses.
