This program helps students to develop skills necessary to work as associate teachers of preschool children in early childhood settings. Courses emphasize strong theoretical and practical skills needed to work with children 2-5 years. Courses fulfill minimum Title 22 licensing requirements and Title 5 early childhood education course requirements for the Child Development Permit at the associate teacher level, and prepares the holder to be a childcare provider in an early care and education program.
