MiraCosta College endorses approval of this program, however, and per the COE recommendation we should be very cautious of endorsing any more such programs due to the large number of options for students to attain these skills, degrees and certificates.

Palomar College submitted the appropriate LMI from the COE. There is a supply gap of 55 annual job openings and entry-level wages average $16.35 per hour. Based on available LMI, the COE recommends that the region proceed with *caution* caution because a large number of institutions exist for these occupations and the supply gap is relatively low, suggesting that existing programs may currently meet labor market demand.
