The Business Information Worker II Certificate of Achievement is designed to provide students with the intermediate level office skills that can facilitate advancement from entry level to higher level office and administrative support positions.
The Business Information Worker (BIW) program is a two-tiered, structured career pathway for students who are interested in entering the exciting and diverse career field of office and administrative support. The BIW pathway is aligned with a California statewide program that collaborated with businesses and advisory committees across the state to identify the most in-demand and desirable knowledge and skills required of today’s business information workers. The Business Information Worker II certificate of achievement builds upon the Business Information Worker I certificate in order to provide students with the office skills that can allow them to be more effective in current positions and/or advance to higher level positions.
