The Business: Bookkeeping Certificate of Achievement prepares the student as an entry-level accounts payable/accounts receivable clerk, with responsibilities including data entry. The curriculum includes basic accounting concepts, records management, spreadsheets, specialized payroll accounting and reporting procedures, and other entry-level skills.
Based upon our current enrollments, we anticipate 15 completers per year for this Certificate of Achievement.
Upon successful completion of this program, the student will be able to:
1. Use information technology to record financial data.
2. Apply analytical and technological tools to analyze business information.
3. Communicate financial data and analyses effectively.

This certificate of achievement is designed to provide a balance of coursework across two semesters with the intent of allowing students to complete the certificate requirements in as little as two semesters.
