The Business: Bookkeeping Certificate of Achievement prepares the student as an entry-level accounts payable/accounts receivable clerk, with responsibilities including data entry. The curriculum includes basic accounting concepts, records management, spreadsheets, specialized payroll accounting and reporting procedures, and other entry-level skills.
Based upon our current enrollments, we anticipate 15 completers per year for this Certificate of Achievement.
Upon successful completion of this program, the student will be able to:
1. Use information technology to record financial data.
2. Apply analytical and technological tools to analyze business information.
3. Communicate financial data and analyses effectively.
