Program Goals and Objectives
The program prepares the student to enter the accounting workforce with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed as a junior accountant, and to progress to managerial positions with his or her employer.
Students who satisfactorily complete the Curriculum in Accounting, a two-year course of study, are qualified for employment as junior accountants in private, public and governmental accounting and as junior auditors in private and governmental accounting. After gaining experience and further study,graduates have advanced to more senior positions such as accounting supervisor,senior accountant and senior auditor.
