This certificate issued through the Business and Computing Division provides students with accounting and computer accounting coursework focusing on intermediate accounting concepts. This certificate will enable students to prepare for the financial reporting section of the CPA exam. Students are required to obtain a grade of “C” or better in all required courses at Orange Coast College.

Students will be able to demonstrate generally accepted accounting practices in the area of financial accounting using various forms of technology and be prepared for the financial reporting section of the CPA examination.
