The advanced shop iron workers apprenticeship program provides necessary advanced skills and knowledge to set an apprentice up for success as a shop ironworker. Lecture based advanced classroom work leads to knowledge that is used for practica shop floor applications covered in hands on advanced skills laboratories.

The goal of this program is to provide advanced skills and knowledge to an apprentice so that they may have a long-term successful career as an ironworker. This program is intended to build advanced skills and knowledge that future ironworker programs will be built upon. The focus s on occupational needs of a shop ironworker.
