The Data Science certificate of achievement provide students with foundational and practical knowledge and training to prepare them for entry-level careers in Data Science or Data Analytics. The program touches on both the Mathematical and Computational areas of the subject matter including Descriptive and Inferential Statistics, Programming & Analysis Tools such as Python and R, and existing AWS Cloud Services such as Data Lake, Athena, Glue, and Redshift. The program also help prepare students with appropriate background for the Data Analytics specialty certification from AWS. Topics include Data Exploration and Visualization with Jupyter, Regression Analysis, and other Data Science tools such as numpy, scipy, pandas, matplotlib, seaborn, statsmodels, scikit-learn, keras, and TensorFlow.
Possible Jobs: Data Scientist, Associate Data Scientist, Junior Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Business Analytics Specialist, Data Visualization Developer, Operations Research Analyst, Market Research Analyst, Modeling and Simulation Analyst, and Big Data Analyst.
We anticipate 10 projected students/annual completers each year, based on enrollment data.
