The enterprise service clerk program will prepare students to maintain an accurate filing system, enter data on the computer, and create various reports needed in an office environment.
Students can apply for entry-level jobs such as human resources specialists, enrollment representatives, office assistants, administrative/office support, front desk office clerks, and service clerk.
There are no programs like this offered at any other community college. This is a market that also needs a skilled workforce. Some entry-level jobs can pay students up to $60,000 annually with full benefits. In addition, students will have the opportunity to get other higher-level positions within the same entity.
This certificate fulfills the need to provide students with occupations with a living wage. Also, most government jobs offer other essential paid benefits for their employees, like health insurance. This program will draw students from our Computer Information Systems and Office Technology programs that may or may not be interested in transferring to a four-year university.
