The Wine Industry and Hospitality will prepare you for an exciting career in the wine industry.
You will be introduced to a variety of disciplines included in the winemaking industry. From basic winemaking (enology), grape cultivation (viticulture), event organization and service (hospitality) to marketing and selling of wine (business principles).
Our classes are designed to help students incorporate the basic sciences into the production of grapes and wines with numerous opportunities for hands-on learning experiences
The projected graduate of the program is 40 students to complete an associate degree. There will be 60 students in the program at one time with first year and second year students combined.
The Wine Industry and Hospitality Program at MSJC has an occupational goal for the region. With the program design offering flexibility to working within the Temecula Wine Industry, this program will assist the demand for wine service excellence in our Southwest Inland Empire Region. With$64.5M total annual revenue in the Temecula Valley Wine County, Temecula Valley bring jobs, business, and benefits to our local economy.
The MSJC Wine Hospitality Program does not require pre-requisite courses for admission.
