The Cosmetology Associate of Science Degree is a 1600 hour program of technical instruction and practical training covering all practices constituting the art of Cosmetology. The program is designed to prepare the students for licensure with The California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology and success as a Cosmetologist. Licensed graduates may be employed as hair stylist, make-up artist, manicurist, pedicurist, hair waxing removal specialist, facialist, and retail buyers and sellers. With continuing education and experience licensed Cosmetologist’s may find employment as salon managers or owners, manufacturers field representatives, demonstrators and lectures, instructors, and laboratory technicians. |
