Enrollment Completer Projections
In reviewing Barstow Community College’s Cosmetology program enrollment and completion rates for the past two years, 2015-2016 and 2016-2017, and the year-to-date enrollment numbers for the 2017-2018 school year. We experienced a slight decrease in enrollment and completion rates from 15/16 to 16/17. During 17/18 to-date we have experienced an increase in enrollment to-date. With expanded offerings such as Barbering added into the current cosmetology program we anticipate to maintain or increase enrollment in these programs. We project for this certificate program we will have 15-20 students enrolling with 10-15 completers every other academic year. This projection was developed by previous and current enrollment/completion trends in the cosmetology program at BCC and program demand.
