The Civil Engineering Technology program prepares the students for an entry-level career working as a technician under the direction of civil engineers, surveyors, contractors and architects. The program concentrates on the planning, design and construction of infrastructures and facilities through the use of problem-based learning, project-based learning and standard industry tools and emerging technologies. Students in this program become qualified for technologist positions including positions as civil engineering technicians, CAD engineers, structural technicians, field technicians, surveying and mapping technicians.
