Advisory committee minutes do clearly describe who are the members of the committee. This makes evaluation of need difficult and lacking of compelling evidence in support of direction. The creative link between entrepreneurship classes and disciplines is worth noting as a potential model worth practicing. There may be an option to reverse the order and have a E Certificate with an elective structure for students to complete 9-15 units in a particle certificate process. Could provide a more rich environment for this classes without potential redundancy across college program areas following similar practices.

Clovis Community College digital media group has also prepared several entrepreneurship certificates, including one in music production. I will support the recommendation of this program (by voting 'recommend') provided CCC is accorded the same approval from FCC. I do not believe that the programs will be in conflict with one another and, rather, will serve to promote the development of commercial music entrepreneurship in the Fresno area. CCC will be taking our DM certificate programs through the curriculum process in the fall, including music production.
