The Private Pilot program is the entry point for training for students who wish to prepare for a career in the field of aviation. Private pilots are licensed to fly for personal pleasure and enjoyment. This course of study meets the aeronautical knowledge requirements of Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) 61.105.
