The Accounting AS degree provides the student with the industry skills for entry-level accounting positions in business, government, industry and financial institutions. Upon successful completion of the program students will be able to:

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (https://www.bls.gov/ooh/business-and-financial/home.htm), employment for the financial occupations is expected to grow 10 percent by 2026, introducing more than 773,800 new jobs to the marketplace. As the financial industry evolves, companies are racing to find new finance and accounting talent, making it an opportune time for students to upskill and break into the field by completing the AS degree.
