Master Planning
Within CCSF the proposed program seeks to “contribute to enrollment growth and development of in‐demand programs for degree/transfer and workforce certificates”. Once a locally approved certificate this CTE program has more units required and is more robust thus better falls under a Certificate of Achievement. The demand for stilland digital photography and retouching in the bay area is strong and thus our Industry Advisors encouraged us to train our students accordingly. This low unit certificate (16 units) in PHOT is “stackable” which means the students learning them are also on a path to the AS degree and other certificates should they choose. This certificate can be acquired in three semesters.
Enrollment and Completer Projections
From 2011-Spring 2018 approximately 182 degrees and Certificate of Accomplishments were delivered in PHOT. We are seeking to convert our current CTE programs to Certificate of Achievements.
